Just over a week ago I got a message from Meagan Marie of Crystal Dynamics asking me if I'd like to participate in the Tomb Raider 15th Anniversary Celebration. I was absolutely over the moon, it was such an exciting and precious offer. I almost didn't take it though. I was leaving for Venice for a week to relax that very weekend and I knew two days wouldn't have been enough time to come up with an idea, draw it, refine it, and just finish the inking, never mind the whole thing. But there's no way I could pass up this opportunity so I worked feverishly over the next two days and then when I got to Venice I worked feverishly to get it finished and I just managed to get it done in time for the deadline. I was so thrilled. It really is such an honour to have been a part of this and I can't thank Meagan enough for giving me the opportunity as well as my friend and fellow participant, the exceptionally talented Ashley Quenan, who painted the illustration that was first revealed.

Lara's been such a huge focus in my work for as long as I can even remember and this was just such a thrill to do. I'm ecstatic. So a very special thanks to:

I wanna thank everyone for the kind comments and all the favourites that my recent Tomb Raider piece got. I really appreciate it. I've decided that since I had such a good time doing it, I'm going to try and make a series.

So I would like to know what people think of when they think of Tomb Raider II? What key moments spring to mind? It's such a long game with so much variety in it that it'd be nice to hear what stands out the most for people.

I just started a new piece inspired by the first Tomb Raider game and I'm really excited. I've never felt so excited about anything I've worked on but I have a great feeling about this one. I'm expecting my new Wacom tablet to arrive any day now as well. Everything's slotting in to place for this one. I draw lots of MK stuff because I love MK but Tomb Raider has always been my favourite so it's great to catch up with Lara.
