In 1996, my aunt showed me her Sony Playstation for the first time. She was playing Tomb Raider. As soon as I saw Lara Croft leap off a cliff face and open fire on a pack of wolves who had attacked her mountain guide, I was hooked. Soon, I got my own copy of Tomb Raider and I was completely addicted. It's been 15 years and Tomb Raider remains my favourite series of all time while Lara Croft sits firmly atop my list of favourite characters. And I doubt that will ever change.

This is a tribute to the very first Tomb Raider game (with influences from the 2007 remake Anniversary).

Lara was my first artistic love. I've been drawing her for as long as I can remember my love for drawing. Andy Park, the pencil artist of the Tomb Raider comic series has been a huge influence on me over the last decade and I looked to his work for guidance when working on this.

In all of my 15 yrs of Tomb Raider fandom I have never encountered fan art that puts Lara in the true glory and beauty of the Tomb Raider series <3 <3 <3
